This NB2-based example design demonstrates use of the PB01 peripheral board's CS4270 24-bit, 192kHz stereo audio CODEC. In a simple digital audio 'loop', a processor in the design communicates with the CS4270 over an I2S bus, acquiring digital audio data samples from the CODEC, then writing them back to it, for subsequent passage through the NB2's audio system. Sound can be heard through the stereo speakers (on the attached NB2DSK-SPK01 board), or through an external audio receiver connected to the NB2's
LINE OUT jack.
The design includes a TSK3000, as well as I2S and SPI components.
The associated embedded project demonstrates use of the I2S Driver and the CS4270 Audio Codec Driver.
