This NB2-based example design implements an MP3 Decoder, to play back
*.mp3 files stored on an SD card. This example requires Altium's Mass Storage peripheral board PB02 to be attached to the NB2 motherboard. Insert an SD card containing one or more
*.mp3 files into the PB02's SD Card Reader. The MP3 file list will be displayed on the board's TFT screen. Simply touch the file required to have it played back. Either listen to the music through the stereo speakers (on the attached NB2DSK-SPK01 board), or through an external audio receiver connected to the NB2's
LINE OUT jack.
The design includes a TSK3000, as well as TFT, MP3 Decoder, Terminal Instrument, SD Card, SPI, I2S, TSPENDOWN, and SRAM Controller components.
The associated embedded project demonstrates use of the Audio Context, MP3 Decoder Driver, Storage System Context, GUI Context and Serial Device I/O Context for serial output via the Terminal instrument.
