This FPGA design example demonstrates ping over WiFi, running on the NB3000. The compatible USB WiFi Key is inserted into one of the three host USB ports on the NB3000. The example is configured with the details of the wireless access point used in the Altium lab, the user will need to change it in the software platform (USB Host Wireless Networking Context) to use the details of their own wireless access point. The IP address is acquired from the DHCP server via the USB WiFi key and is printed to the terminal instrument. The user can then ping this IP address from a computer on the same network.
The TSK3000, USB Interconnect, Terminal Instrument, SRAM controller and USB ( shared) memory controller are used in this example.
The embedded project demonstrates the use of TCP/IP Network Adapter which is built on the USB Host Wireless Networking Context and Serial Device I/O Context, USB Host Context.
